As the e-publisher of the site, I may believe a story is good, but you never know until you read the web site's stats. What we think might be a successful story has not always come to pass.
Our reading community changes every month. Each month we get a lot of new visitors, many stick, many come and go, yet there are more and more visitors each month.
Knowing what the general public wants as a mature diversion, is sometimes difficult. We do our best to make the right decisions, and thus far, have been rewarded with more Facebook fans and a lot more people talking about the site.
I would like to take this moment to encourage new writers to consider submitting a short story to be published. There are no fees involved. The worst that could happen is that you will be introduced to thousands of online readers.
